Manayunk is where they met, and the place they call home, so it was the perfect spot for their engagement session... I'd been to this adorable little town many times before, bursting with adorable boutiques and cafes, but this time I wandered with Dave and Alaina down small roads they knew, and along the bike path that runs behind well-known Main Street.
The two of them were smiling and cheerful the entire time (making my job a cinch!) - and it was so sweet how one would glance at the other - bubbling with joy - then quickly back at the camera. Alaina's beautiful eyelet dress, a buttery yellow, inspired me - and many images are filled with warm accents and washed with sunlight as a result. I love when things like that happen!
