A little while back, I photographed these two after their first child, Aidan, arrived. Flash forward a couple of years, two more kids, and amazingly they look exactly the same! ("I'll have what she's having...") What has remained the same, however, is their sweet, head-over-heels, as if it were their first date vibe, filled with giggles and kisses! We met in Union Square where Jimmy asked Nicole to marry him, and hit the High Line at the tail end of our adventures...
Here's a quickie from Anh and Tom's Engagement Session in Philadelphia last weekend. They are currently on their way to Vietnam for their first wedding (literally high up in the sky!), and celebrate stateside with wedding number two in August!
They live in New York City, but wanted something nature-inspired and lovely for their Engagement Session. Danielle already had the place in mind – Peace Valley Lavender Farm – tucked down a tiny road in Doylestown. She grew up in the area, and I'm so glad she new about this gem! Despite their 3-hour journey, Danielle and Brian were excited to get started, and I was excited to have some fun with their dog Rocky! Here's some favorites from our afternoon...
Courtney and Dan met at Green Rock in Hoboken, which is also their home base, so it was the perfect launching point for an afternoon of reminiscing and portraits. The bar's only a few steps from the waterfront and train station, which were our next stops. Perfect weather brought everyone out and we dodged runners, strolling couples and even a Zumba class, finding just the right spots. This adorable duo ties the knot in September and celebrate at the all new Pomme in Radnor. Can't wait!
This Engagement Session was all about color - and I loved every minute, hue and shade of it! Never mind that we skipped puddles and hid under doorways and umbrellas during passing showers... Breanne and Dat drove up from Baltimore, so we couldn't let a few raindrops stop us!
I love the creative selection of their wardrobe; check out those yellow pants! Breanne made her beautiful necklace as well - I was totally impressed (and want one!)
They drove all the way from New York City for Engagement Portraits in a lovely wooded setting. We met at Bartam's Garden, a sweet, little-known spot in West Philly, which totally delivered; wildflowers, stone houses, quaint trails, and even a deer! Jill and Max have an infectious energy and joy about them that made my job so wonderful! All smiles, totally ready for anything, and not bothered at all by a few showers that peppered our morning. They rock.
