Marine Corps 233rd Birthday Ball

This was the second year photographing the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. I was very excited to be asked back! It was nice to see so many familiar faces, and to hear that people loved the ceremony photos and portraits from last year. My assistant Aileen said the portraits made her think back to an old photo of her grandparents, taken when her grandfather was in the service; I'm so happy to be helping make special memories for future generations...

Marine Wing Support Squadron 472 celebrated on Friday night, at the Clarion in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

India Battery held their Ball Saturday at the Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA.

Marine Corps 232nd Birthday Ball

A few weeks ago I photographed the ceremony and portraits for not one but TWO Marine Corps Birthday Balls. It was my first time attending...and an honor to be there. Back-to-back events, hours away, can certainly be a challenge, but thank goodness there were many, many Marines were right there to help set-up. (Thanks again to everyone who carried, lifted and helped out!)

Phillip's 1st!

Happy 1st Birthday Phillip!

Sunday afternoon was Phillip's "Royal Birthday Party" at Cescaphe Ballroom in Northen Liberties - what a grand event! While the adults relaxed and enjoyed the delicious food...the kids danced, did the limbo, and even had some surprise visitors - Elmo and Cookie Monster... Here's a sneak peek:
