Last winter I got an email from Colleen, a super sweet Mom-to-be who had just moved into a new house, and wanted to fit portraits in before her due date. We did just that, and then a few weeks later, just at the start of the big snowstorm last February, Katie arrived! I loved getting her birth announcement, and seeing Colleen and Patrick's photos of her on facebook.
And now finally, I got to meet her! What a personality - so filled with emotion - smiling, scrunching-up her nose, giggling at Mommy and Daddy making funny faces. We visited a park nearby, and then Katie played at home a bit before getting ready for her nap... Our plan was to catch her snoozing, but she was so excited she never went to sleep!
